It was a great win for the Cowboys. Now their fans think they are a shoo-in for the Super Bowl. Should be fun when they fail later this year. Their defense is markedly improved with their 2 new corners. O-line still a ticking time bomb.

Did you read the Dallas Morning News? Good lord, one game and suddenly Romo is a hero. He started rough and then came around and took full advantage of the depleted Giants secondary. They played well considering all circumstances and did indeed have a great start to the season. They are 1-0 though, not 10-0.

But yes, I agree. One game and the Cowboys are clear favorites for the SB. Loss in the next game and everyone should be fired, especially Romo. What a joke...

RGIII had it going on all right. ESPN was saying he stands alone as a rookie Qb with no interceptions in his first game. Small thing perhaps but the game was not. One hopes Luck lands on his feet, he does seem to have a lot of the right ingredients.

On Sanchez, jeez, I wish Tebow had gone to a team with a serious and pressing need at Qb. Would be more entertaining.

his confusion is because they're in the AFC West.

Anyway, Peyton looked good, but SD has always had his number. I'm really looking forward to seeing those two play twice this season

After week 1 (because we all know that week 1 is a perfect indicator of the rest of the season )

San Francisco is my NFC favorite, with Dallas a distant second. Houston and Baltimore look to be the class of the AFC.

Mario Williams is the worst free agent pickup. Peyton Manning is the best.

Chris Johnson won't gain 1000 yards and I will laugh about it.

Not a surprise at all. Tony Romo is Mr. October (and September ). In baseball, that's a good thing. In football, not so much. Just think if he had a real NFL quality O-line in front of him.

Did you by chance see the non-calls on obvious holding by Cowboys too? You're right, the refs did blow that game badly, for both teams. But I doubt it would have changed the "Wood Shed" dynamics of the game.

Looked legal to me. When the forearm, shoulder and helmet all arrive at the same time, and the chin goes up, that means short guy just knocked the snot out of big guy, legally. I doubt there will be any fines.
