Shifters and shifter length AKA short shifter info

This started out as a quick search to find out what shifter is in my E46 and replace it with one that is a little longer in length from the ball to the pivot. Thus creating a short shifter in the $50 to $100 range. In the past I have had shifters laying around to pick one for E30s and E36s. All I am left with are e30 stuff so I thought it best to document it by part number.

Searching the internet I found pictures some with dimensions some with out. I have incorporated them into my spread sheet so thank you for taking the time to do this.

I am requesting any photos and information about any shifters you may have including dimensions and part numbers. I am including the link to the spread sheet and if you want to update it and email it back to me PM me and I will send you my info. Or post it here and I will grab it.
