Got the car 2 weeks ago:

$12,000 below sticker ($66,500) had all options i wanted minus HUD. $0 down, 15k a year $700 a month. He paid 1/2 of shipping. 1 pain in the ass scuff mark on a jet black I need to try to buff out. 2 inch's long. But no one locally could match Greg Poland's deal. First time buying car sight unseen, was hesitant but I think I would do it again. He's easy to deal with.
Maybe next time I'll try to get them to pay for detailing.

Good job. So you bought from Greg? What other dealers did you shop in Houston? I was able to get Advantage Midtown to beat Greg and Adrian's European Delivery deals without breaking a sweat.

Selection here was limited. But got in touch with advantage and momentum and flat our told me a deal like that would not be easy to get with my options list. I have purchased my x5 from advantage so I gave them first right of refusal,,, no dice

How are you getting the car from CA to Houston? Are you going to ship it? If so, who do you plan to use and what is a ballpark cost estimate?

I think the OP is saying the sticker was $66K; no way you get a $700 a month payment on a MSRP of $78K. Could be wrong.

No. That was original sticker of 66k. Sorry for the confusion. Shipping cost me 750 for an open truck. Would have been 1150, or around that, for a closed truck.

.....and are in California, you just have to go with Greg Poland at Pacific BMW. He's TRULY amazing.

I decided to move on short notice and had about 4 days to return my leased M3. Greg set it all up. He wasn't working on that day when I could return it (day of my flight to Europe), but his colleague was there to help and informed about the situation.

They didn't really do an inspection, I signed one form for the DMV, and left within (I'm not kidding) 10 minutes. Then I just got my early termination paperwork from BMW. I expected it to be $9000 or so or at least the remaining payments. No, it's only about $2000. I don't know how that's possible.

I only wish Greg could get me an M3 in Europe!

Hey guys thanks for the support... !!! for the record most of the time when I don't respond it is because I never got the email... sometimes the spam filters in our email program send messages to spam folder. So if I miss it there........ well you get the picture. I like to say if I don't return your email that is probably 99.9% because I never got it... always best to follow up with a phone call if you get no response.

Can Greg and Jon help find a used car? I am looking at getting an 09 750 (i or Li, undecided) but my list of options (I want it loaded but don't need options like night vision) seems to keep me looking. I must have active cruise control and that only seems to be on like 5-10% (maybe less) of the cars. Add in that I want a blue exterior (ideally Deep Sea Metallic but could do imperial) and light colored interior and it seems to be a futile search...

I don't mind paying a fair price but I don't want to pay a $10K premium over auction prices (Manheim, High Line, etc).

Can either be of help to me?

The local dealers in the Northern Virginia did not even come close. I did not need to negotiate the price and I never felt pressure to buy. All the communications were done with email or txt.
I even inquired about end of lease buy back of my other car, a 2010 X5. He was able to offer a price substantially less than the contracted buyback from BMWFS. I didn't buyback the car from him because of state tax reasons.

I just bought a new 535i from Greg, and I have to say it was the BEST car buying experience I have ever been involved in.

I ordered my car with Greg at the end of August, and received it less than 8 weeks later. The price was awesome, and through the whole process Greg was very quick with responding to my questions.

On the day of delivery, I was in and out of the dealership in one hour. Greg had prepared much of the paperwork ahead of time, so all I had to do was meet with the finance guy to sign it all. The speed of everything was a very nice surprise.

On top of all of this, Greg topped my tank off to full after I had noticed that it was only half full (I don't think full tanks are standard at his dealership). And finally, Greg even had my dad's car washed for him while I was in the finance department signing papers (and my dad's car is a Mercedes...Greg's competition!).

All in all, I give Greg my highest recommendation for anyone looking to get into a BMW. Don't pass him up.

Because my wife's car was getting old and in the shop, we decided to get a new car. I contacted Greg last Thursday from the recommendations on this forum and we were able to get the deal done on Saturday. We had plans later on that evening and were in an out of the dealership with a car in 2.5 hours! The experience was completely straight forward and he made it easy and got a great deal.

I just want to share my most recent BMW leasing experience that I had with Greg Poland of Pacific BMW. As many of you may have noticed in my signature, I've purchased/leased quite a few BMWs and have had many experiences with different dealers and client advisors throughout the years. This most recent one being my 11th BMW automobile - a 2013 F30 328i, which replaced the 2010 E90 328i that we've been driving for the past 2.5 years. This is my 4th BMW from Pacific BMW, but my first with Greg. I generally try to stay loyal to the client advisors that I've developed relationships in the past, but I decided to try a few new CAs to work with. Greg's willingness to help is what won me over.

As I become accustomed with every car purchase, I contacted a few different dealerships to get a feel for what they could do for me. Greg's "straight shooter" attitude is what every CA should be like. He located a few cars that had the options that I was interested in. We settled on one and the discussion started.

Everything was done via email. I did not personally talk to Greg, even once, before stepping into the dealership. Before I stepped into the dealership EVERYTHING was agreed upon and Greg was true to his word. The car wasn't even supposed to arrive at the VDC, but it arrived early. I was in the Glendale area last Friday and stopped by to say "Hi" to Greg as I've never met him before. To my surprise, he confirmed that the car had actually arrived and asked if I wanted to pick up the car today. I had a meeting to go to but said that I could stop by after dinner. The car was ready and waiting. I only dealt with Greg. No Finance & Insurance guy to try to up-sell me on a extended warranty or wheel/tire protection plan (this is one of my pet peeves). It literally took less than 5 minutes to go over the docs and get me into the new car. Smooth and efficient!

In this day & age where people interact less and less face to face, people don't put in the "extra effort" anymore and a car purchase is no different. You don't get that with Greg. I believe good work needs to be recognized and that's why I'm writing this on Bimmerfest. I've been known to be a "ball buster" on car deals (I'm sure Greg will be one of the first people attest to this statement ). I don't hide that fact. I lease 2 cars every 3 years or so and Greg will be at the top of my list of people to contact whenever I need a new one. If you are in the market for a BMW, I suggest you give Greg a call. He's among the best there is.
