1973 Bavaria

Hi! My 1973 bavaria, which has been kept in beautiful condition, recently broke down. My brother was driving it when it made a loud thunk sound and a thick plume of smoke came up. The mechanic says everything in the car is great except the engine. If anyone know where I can get another engine for my baby, I'd be so grateful. Thank you!
