Climb to The Clouds - Furball Makes Good!

Hello All,

Wow - it's been an amazing 2.5 weeks of my life. I just returned from Africa, where I climbed to the sky and submitted Mount Kilimanjaro! I won't lie, it was the most difficult thing I have ever done - in my entire life. Every climber, at some point of summit night (starting at midnight, climbing for eight hours up in the dark) experienced limp mode.

Some of us, including yours truly, were not sure if we could make it up this mountain but we did it. I had many thoughts while climbing and to be honest - you were in them also.

Thanks to the generous donations made the group raised over $175,000!!! This money will be put to amazing use building schools, educating children, educating teachers, and providing medical care to some of the most impoverished places in the world! Thanks to your generous donations I was able to raise the most amount of money out of the entire group (approx $8,000!!!)

Linked is the pictures to my google+ page with pictures. Attached is the one picture of me holding my hands to the sky - and look what my hand is holding!

I will post the story later, as I start/finish it. The trip - from start to finish - was amazing!

Regards

Avi

Congratulations Furby! Odds are good you now hold the altitude record for a Bimmerfester.

Which is clearly more prestigious than the attitude record.

Great job, Furby!

Obviously I wouldn't do such a thing!

That's a new sign they put up about a year ago. Nobody likes it, compared to the old sign. To be honest if i wasn't so delirious by the time I got up there I probably would have

Congratulations for accomplishment, and the fact that it helps so many others makes it even more worthwhile.

Congratulations Avi, you've closed the circle we started at Climb to the Clouds IV. It's fitting that you hoisted a Bimmerfest CtoC4 banner at the summit!

What a compliment it is to the members of this board who so generously donated items for the auction, and who donated to your charity through the bids they made. Thanks too, to the owners of the board who let us keep the Stickies up concerning the Mt. Washington climb, and the Mt. Kilamanjaro climb.

At a time when we seem to hear so much about the bad in the world it is very encouraging to know that there are still so many good hearted people around.

I'm glad we were able to put you 'over the top' in more ways than one.
