transmition problems

Hey guys, when i drive around for a bit at high speeds like the free way, and come park or come to a stop light my cars transmission makes a lot of noise like a hissing sound like something rubbing onto metal. I thought by changing my transmission fluid it would fix but i want your guys opinion before i make any fixes. thanks alot

Post on the other board as well, but from the description it might be the torque converter. But first check the fluid level incase you have a leak, so it's low now. Else, if it's really teh torque converter, get it fix now so you won;t need a new complete transmission.
