Traction wise, both car is about the same. Edmunds' skid pad test result in 0.88g for both the 328i and the 535i. The 328i was about 2 MPH faster then the 535i thru the slalom, probably due to the weight difference.

An F10 550i with all the performance boxes checked does provide a more involving experience but at a much higher price point. BMW understands how to make large cars drive small, but, generally, l prefer the intimacy of a smaller car.
Capo, what happened to your F7? Did you recently go back to E92?

It's been a year. Bought the F07 for the fam - had it for a year - but my needs changed which allowed me to go back to an E92. The F07 is a much better car than its reputation - as I said above - BMW understands how to make an engaging large car. I liked my F07, I adore my E92 M3 - in terms of my needs and desires - it's perfect.

Speaking of BJ I drove by my BMW dealer and saw him peaking through the window gasping at the pure beauty permeating from the 550xi on the other side of the glass. I could see tears of pure bliss streaming down the glass, I think that ends the conversation on what you need to buy

The 5 Series is The Love Bloat.

Correct, meaning I can fit all the groupies I pick up at wal-mart and TGI Fridays in the greatest shaggin wagon ever. I could see the stars in your eyes from here, having to typing that.

If you had a 550i and read the manual page 232 says "when washing in order to comply with BMW warranty the only approved method of washing is with unicorn tears"

I think the f30s says use mud water.

But, your information under "Mein Auto" says that you sold your 550i?

Two different animals really and I've always felt the the 3 series is the one of the best drivers cars on the market. The handling, power just make the 3 series a winner all around. The 5 series is an incredible car but it's not a car you can whip around corners like you can with the 3 series. I can't wait to get rid of my S5 for the new 3 series coupe which should be brilliant.

I love my F30. However, if I end up needing a little more room, the 5 is the way to go, right? Also, is there a big difference in feel between the 528 and 535 (worth the price bump)? Thanks.
