Drive for team USA

Can a drive for team USA certificate be used twice, as in I buy a new 3 series and a new X5 and get $1,000 off of each?

Sorry, it can only be used one time...

There are no more drive for the team USA in my region, is there anything I can do or am I screwed basically? Any chance of a similar offer any time soon?

It's a one-time event that goes across the country, once you have missed it there's no other options. You've missed out on this one, you'll just have to wait for any other BMW incentives in coming months. The next big push will probably be the holiday sale in Nov/Dec.

It will probably return in 2014 for the Winter Olympics...

Does this discount come off the negotiated price which you THEN pay tax on,

or do you pay tax on the FULL amount of the vehicle, THEN get $1000 off the full amount?

My dealership seems to think it's the latter; where I have to pay tax on the full amount of the vehicle. Is this correct? So I am paying tax on $1,000 that I didn't really spend on the car?

If anyone can comment w/ their experiences it would be very helpful... Thanks in advance.

Drive for Team USA is a rebate so it is applied after the taxable event has already occurred (i.e. after purchase price). You can use the $1,000 towards drive off (title, license, bank fee) or your down payment if you are putting down a cap reduction.

Do you have to take delivery by 10/31 or can you place an order by 10/31?

Delivery. The only exceptions are F30 328xi and 335xi (it's January for them).

But what about custom orders. We can't get the car until 2 months away but when we place the order do we get discount of 1000 or its after delivery ?

It's based on delivery date. If you don't have enough time to order, it just means you're limited to dealer stock or incoming cars.
