Count me in if it's October 6th - but with the M3...as the new F10 is STILL at the VPC. SA swears there was no damage, but as unusual and as long as this ED has taken, I will probably be still waiting on delivery. I'm in Sunnyvale, but think I'll caravan if we have a meeting spot. On a side note, we should open up this thread to the entire of Bimmerfest. Would be a great meet and greet!

I am in if its the first week, minus the car - ED scheduled for 10/11.

Tune has been ordered! Hopefully I should have it on my car early next week. I also ordered my 550i M sport difusser ( getting ready for the quad exhaust set up im ordering next month )

So are we on for 10/6... anyone?

Awesome! Glad you guys are getting a posse together for C&C this month. Unfortunately, with my week on-off schedule, I will be missing the next few months

If I can work something out, I will let you guys know. Ramble, will the BMS tune be in by C&C??

The tune should hopefully be in by mid next week. So my car will have had some time to adapt to it.

Ramble, a couple of questions if I may, as I am also interested in this mod someday. Which quad exhaust are you planning on getting? And, why the 550i msport diffuser and not the m5 since the 550i is shaped like a slanted rectangle?

Right now its a toss up between Megan and Remus. I'll probably make my decision in a couple weeks. And as to why I'm going with the Msport 550 instead of the M5 diffuser is the spacing, the M5 exhaust looks closer together than the set ups I am looking at. I'll investigate a little further but from what I saw it looks a little different.

Getting the F10 re-delivered tomorrow so there will be a Mojave 5er added to the DFW Roll Call.

So is there a meet next weekend?

Classic BMW - Spring Creek and the Dallas Tollway - that's where Cars and Coffee is held - first Sat of the month. ...EARLY AM.

Early AM = 8am-10am (latest). If you want to "show" your car and park in the show, you have to get there about 730am.

RambleJ, I am excited about the BMS tune coming in, and for your new exhaust set-up. I am actually hoping to catch up with you this week or next. I will probably get the BMS Stage 1 in the next couple of months. I also will get the 550i rear valence and some dual tips (or square tips). I don't think I will drop the $2k on a full exhaust set-up. BTW, I totally agree that the 550i rear valence will be more aggressive and better looking. I have always had trouble warming up to the closely spaced duals on the E90/E92.

So this wil be my first time going, is this part of a larger show? How do you recognize fellow festers? (except for you Ramble - the tattoo description should make you easy to spot.

Ha! It is part of a much larger meet. Last time we went, we got there @ 8:30 and we barely found a spot to park inside, and that was a holiday weekend. I figure I will head there @ around 7:00 to get a spot in the BMW section. If anyone wants to meet and caravan there we can set something up.

Well they won't let me park on the BMW section (YET) but since we are in the same neighborhood that would be great. Maybe we meet at the Starbucks by MacArthur and 114?

I know this is off topic, but i was wondering if anyone in the DFW area had any success with coding their F10?

I was able to successfully code:
1. DVD in motion
2. Close trunk from driver side trunk button
3. Close trunk from key fob

I was unsuccessful in coding
1. Power and torque display
2. Tire pressure/temperature display

Wow!! That is awesome. Congrats! I don't know of anyone else in the DFW coding.

Well.....if you are looking to see if those codes would work in another F10, I know of a volunteer

Nice! I agree with Deep. I don't know of anyone in the DFW area that does coding. But you may want to reach out to a fellow F10 fester "ShawnSheridan", he has been able to successfully code the F10 with the power/torque display and others.
