|
Fuel pressure regulator
I changed my fuel pressure regulator, and now I have problems starting my car, I will have to pump gas with gas pedal a couple times to be able to start the vehicle. I own a 99 BMW 328i. Any ideas what is happening?

Pumping the gas pedal has no effect WHAT SO EVER if the engine is not running.
 I guess you have a new faulty regulator. What is the fuel rail pressure? If it reads low (I guess it will) clamp off the return and see if the pressure goes up. If it does the reg is faulty. If not I'd be checking fuel filter then fuel pump.
