All four windows faulty

I own a 1997 BMW 328i and a while back my front two windows stopped working at the same time. When I tried to use them, a clicking noise came out from under the passenger side dashboard. A week or so later the rear windows did the same. And a week after that none of them work, and the clicking sound has stopped. Any ideas on what's wrong? I've searched for months trying to find out what it is. Is it something I can buy online etc and fix myself?

ZKE module. That was the clicking you heard. Google it. I don't understand how it works, but I'm 99% sure that's where your window problem lies.
