Saddle Brown Interior

Hi Guys - I am a new member and happy to be here! I am going to order a new car soon and would like your opinion as to what a Saddle Brown Interior looks best with. I am thinking of either Silver or a Med Dark Grey exterior. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks. Robert

I have SB with Space Gray, I think it looks great! However, there is absolutely no substitute for seeing it in person. Capturing reddish colors on a computer screen appears to be a highly inaccurate thing, I've personally mistook Chestnut for saddle at this forum, and even my own pics just don't look like the real thing. As I understand it, reddish hues are typically the most inaccurate on displays to begin with. Not that you have yours calibrated with a colorimeter, but maybe you do. You get my point, big difference between real life and through a screen, gl.

Space grey is darker in color than silver. It is closer to your description of med dark grey. BMW calls actual silver titanium silver. You can get a decent approximation from bmwusa.com.

I'm not sure which chassis you're considering, but for my own, SG is in between Titanium Silver and Sparkling Graphite. But as for being close to one or the other, something to know about SG is that it was (and probably still is) the most color neutral paint available from BMW; whatever the surroundings/lighting are will very much affect how it looks, as well as the angle.

If you can ingraytiate your local dealer, I'm sure you can see all sorts of combos in person, and for however many people say to get such and such combo, there will be all the more who will say to instead get that and that combo.

Speaking of the nature of SG as a chameleon, these two pics of my car are separated by less than 10 seconds. Happy hunting, and welcome to the forum.

Dark blue, Red, Black, White, anything other than another blech grey car. Besides my dislike for the gray-silver color schemes, they are harder to see when visibility is reduced.

I have to say I lean toward vermillion red ;>)
