injector solenoid

have a 524td that needs some help on the injector pump. The pump needs a solenoid listed in Bosch manual 1 987 722 164 as
"solenoid valve for start-of-injection"
"Bosch" is embossed on the top of the solenoid along with the number 0 281 002 007 with the number 448 below. The local Bosch shop tells me they cannot cross-reference with BMW and BMW says they cannot cross-reference with Bosch. One wonders how they do business with one another -- perhaps they use smoke signals. In any case if anyone can help in any way I will appreciate it. I look forward to a long and pleasant relationship with my 524td, if I can find this part.
