Put the car in sport + then hold the traction control down untill dsc is completely off put the gear lever in sport mode hold on the gas and brake all the way down

Exactly, the procedure described is power breaking. It probably works close to LC with an AWD 550 due to the grip but with 400 hp + you will light up the tires on an rwd with traction control disabled. With proper LC the computer adjusts rpm,power and wheel spin for an optimal launch. Be aware that power breaking stresses the tranny, it will heat up.
