Finally, my 328i got a vessel. On the Topeka with a 10/3 NY ETA. Who else is on it?

Anyone on it, can you provide completion date of vehicle please. I did not make it. completed 9-13. I am hoping for today thought. Today's Carmen does not stop at Sweden so it will arrive NY 2 days sooner.

hmm. so it was like 7 days for you to get on a boat.

My car got to the port last night i think so im hoping i get on the boat on the 26th, to else i have to wait another week.

My vehicle completed 9-13, so Hoping it made the Carmen. So far no way to confirm this. The Carmen has left the port. Confirmed I am on The Carmen that left on the 20th.

For once, bmwusa.com has a more updated status than the 1-800 number. Phone message still says waiting for vessel. Website says in transit.

So how many days does it take to get to dealer in NY/NJ area once it arrives in port on 10/3?

Topeka leaves NY/NJ the same day it gets there. So the cars will certainly be unloaded on the 3rd. With some luck, you could get the car by the 6th, though most probably you will have to wait till Monday the 8th.

well today both the website and 800 # showed the car in transit. like some have stated the car could have been in transit for several days so here is to hoping I get it next weekend.

Lucky... have to wait till the 9th or so as my drop off is Brunswick... The torture.

I am on it. Ordered 8/17, Production date 9/11. Should arrive in Halifax 10/1.

just got a call from my CA and told me the car will be there at the 2nd. Didn't know the name of the ship however he is actually in Canada on a two week vacation. anyone know the name of the ship arriving in NY on the 2nd?

The Carmen is to far off of any coast for the signal to track. By late Saturday, or early Sunday she should be close enough to the East coast to track. I watched her through the English channel and her two port stops in Europe. It was interesting. It is a shame your CA denied you that part of the BMW experience.

yea I agree and I told him about it. But on the other hand he has been solid, this is the 3rd car i am getting and honestly no one can beat the prices I am getting from him. Anyway when I put the order in he told me he could not say for certain when he could get a build spot for a 335i so I knew what i was getting myself into. I just didn't want a 328i which he had plenty of.

Darn! Topeka running behind schedule it seems. Now in Halifax on 10/2 and NY on 10/4.
