Exclamation point Came on after transmission flush

My car got serviced at bmw. Hoses got replaced and I think they flushed the tranny because of coolant leak but today I was driving and the ! Came on the dash near where it says the gear, I shut it off and when I restarted it it was gone. Then later on in the night the check engine came on ? Help I just spent 800 at bmw 2 days ago

What hoses? Power steering? Radiator? o_O
If they charged you 800 to replace some random hoses and flush your tranny you have my condolences.

& How many miles are you up to?

Get the codes pulled somewhere and THEN take it back to the dealership and make them fix it.

At least with the codes you will have some clue whats really going on and wont have to depend on their word on it.

K - I had the same thing happen 2 years ago. It came on and shifted like crap, after sitting in the garage all night, I came out the next morning and it worked perfectly - like nothing was ever wrong. Weird. I have 180,000 on mine.
