P1429 - Clarification?

Can someone clarify something for me? I get p1429 dtc and i can't figure it out for the life of me. BMW dealer wouldn't say **** and kept their mouth shut. Is this primary air pump (i am 99.9999% positive it's not), is it the secondary air pump (mine is working fine) or is this pointing towards the damn leak diagnostic pump for the fuel tank? I am going crazy

I saw one other person with this problem. IIRC, the Leak Diagnosis Pump was frozen in the open position, causing the code to be generated.

Thanks alot. So, this is what I got. I realized this thing was never plugged in. So I plugged it in and got P2401 and P2419. I bought a new LDP and without hooking it all up just plugged in the harness to see if it would run. Nope, same codes after clearing. I probed the pins on the harness connector and got steady 12v on power and 5 volts on the input/output wires. I don't get why this thing would be throwing these codes.

Plugging in the old and new LDP gave me P1429, P2401 and P2419. I only get P1429 with the LDP unplugged.

So, there was probably dirt in the connector. I used White Vinegar and soaked the electrical connector for a minute or two, plugged it in and it's all working. I got AllData for bimmers and P1429 is a short to ground on the Heater, P2401 is a short to ground to the pump and so is P2419. After I read that, just soaked the connector and it is all good.
