Jerky hesitant start low mpg

Hi everyone (again)

Started the car this morning and had a very hesitant jerky start, idle was very up and down but didnt stall and driving was very jerky was like i was learning to drive again, think the old saying is 'was bunny hopping'. Once was at normal temp all was fine.

I have got into the habit of inserting key at turning electrics on and reapeating this 3 x then start as normal, this seems to of cured my issues previously but this morning was terrible.

Also to add, takes a good 10 - 15 mins for the temp gauge to hit the middle, also poor fuel consumption 21-22mpg

if the MAF sensor is bad, you won't get a correct reading for your fuel intake.
