Sport Mode showed up but not working in 2011 28i
Hey guys,
The latest software upgrade introduced the Sport Mode under the settings on my 2011 X3 28i. I was quite surprised to see this as I don't have the sport button in my car. The mode gives you an option to chose between: Chassis, Drivetrain, and Chassis & Drivetrain entries. It is supposed to affect your suspension and steering feel. After playing with this new option for a while, I realized that it doesn't do anything. I guess it works only for those who have the adaptive suspension in their cars. Could someone confirm that this is indeed just a "dummy" option that doesn't do anything, at least in the X3 models that never had that options before. Thanks, D. |

Correct. If you don't have DHP or the Sport activity package, the option will do nothing for you even if it is now showing on your Idrive screen.
