Question 325ix Struts

I'm finding conflicting information and am wondering if anyone can help.
Can anyone confirm that the KYB 364021 strut will fit my '88 325ix?

KYB doesn't list a front strut for the 88 325ix. Im looking in my work computer and they only list Boge (110-336) as a strut supplier. Even on IMC Parts Boge is only listed (31 32 1 132 487). Pelican parts list Bilsteins (34-002513-M12). Hope that helps

i do not have hands on experience with the 325iX (another US model not available in rhd) but i belive they use 325i/iS 51mm shocks still. but your right the strut is a different part number with a different offset. one of the 4x4 experienced guys will be able to confirm this

E30 above Sold

I would recommend ordering your parts from Autohausaz.com. They have a very easy walk through on your make and model/parts, also their prices are very reasonable. I've owned a few IX's and currently have an 89. There are other sites like pelicanparts.com and bavarianauto.com all reasonable and great sites as well. Shop around and compare one may be a little lower ect.. Hope the info helps..

Also forgot to mention the IX is specific and are different than all the other e30's due to the heavier overall weight of the car when it comes to all the suspension parts. Shocks/Struts Sway Bars/Links Control Arms/bushings Ect.. Good Luck!!
