Sex offender madness

http://abcnews.go.com/US/patrick-dru...ry?id=17274171

Blum killed two sex offenders vigilante style, showing no remorse for the victims and a tiny bit for the families involved. One of them was a 57 y.o. guy who did fit the creepy stereotype. I can't find exact details but he was convicted of first degree rape of a child. The other victim, Blanton, was convicted for having consensual sex with a HS freshman when he was a HS senior. My calculation puts his age at the time at 17-18 and the girl's age at 14-15.

For countless eons, youngsters got married in some fashion and began squirting out babies at such ages. But in our modern wisdom, the guy is criminal scum.

What's more, carloads of Blum supporters have reportedly harassed Blanton's family outside their home.

Blum can relive his glory in his head while he does life w/o parole.

I don't understand why I am getting a completely blank empty browser page when I click on that link above.

Me neither as it loads for me just like I originally saw it when I click on it. If you want to read an account, try a search on "Gary Lee Blanton," he's the younger of the two who were shot and killed.

Could someone check something for me? I just noticed that when I click it, it opens the new tag with a URL, and then the URL changes to this:
...abcnews.go.com/US/patrick-drum-killed-sex-offenders-life-sentence/story?id=17274171#.UGi_l5jA-O4

Notice the last added letters in the end after the ...4171?

I'm using Chrome.

It doesn't happen in Firefox.

I'm using Firefox and I get:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/patrick-dru...1#.UGjf3xgsrbk

when I click. You'll have to use 'quote' to read the full line no doubt.

I've heard that sometimes closeness in age is considered as a factor. Perhaps that's only in some locales, not sure. There ought to be more flexibility in the legal system. No way was Blanton guilty of rape, based on what I know anyway. Girls often mature before boys. I've encountered some very horny, experienced, and promiscuous 14 and 15 year olds. I've always resisted and sometimes they treat you like a wimp for doing so. Life can be weird sometimes.

My understanding of sex offender statues (at least in my area) is that age of offender plus the age difference is a factor in classifying the crime. Sadly, they all end up in the same registry. I found this all out when a woman I worked with was discovered to be in the registry by another coworker.. By the description, she had been convicted of sex with a minor but the age difference was minimal (like an 17 year old with a 16 year old). To most people just looking at the list of names, she might as well have been (unfairly) considered a pedophile.

Two simple rules, if you feel the need to kill a pedophile, (1) make sure its the creepy old guy type and (2) don't get caught. Dexter would not approve of sloppy work.
