Check for H8 bulbs on eBay. Make sure you get high power bulbs. If you use the daytime running light feature.

I saw lots of people in this forum use LUX Angel Eyes and it has pretty good feedback, but seems like it's only fit E70 with HID, does ur car have factory Xenon?

yeah I was thinking of doing this too. I bought a pair of white LED license plate lights from an ebayer and they were uber bright! He's got angel eye bulbs too so i was going to go that route.
Question is... once the halos are "upgraded" that means a headlight temp change needs to be done too right? Edit:here's the guy I bought my lp lights from http://stores.ebay.com/TT-Motoring/_..._sid=189037579 Last edited by kungpao; 10-22-2012 at 11:54 AM. Reason: added ebayer |

kungpao,
Let us know how the halos you get work out. TT-Motoring has great prices. Chuck |

Mine are installed! I ordered them on the 22nd with 5-7 day ground shipping. Received them on the 24th. Great turn around. They came in a simple black box with some contact information and a packing slip inside, but no instructions. They indicated that instructions can be found online. Instead, I referred to the vehicle owner's manual on bulb replacement on page 270. Twist and remove a cover, twist and remove the existing bulb, and disconnect the electrical connector. Insert and twist the LED bulb, connect the connector, and stuff the wire and power modules into the headlamp housing. Insert and twist the cover. 15 minutes per side if it's your first time. They work great and have no codes so far. First impressions are that they are brighter than the stock halogens. They're not as bright as factory LED angel eyes, which is fine with me as I think stock LEDs are too bright. I haven't seen them in direct sunlight yet. However, with cloudy skies and at night I think they look great! I purchased these (over other brands) because they had good feedback and they actually stated their power level (20W). I also liked that they dim similar to the halogens when turned on and off. Here are a couple of pictures that I tried to expose to reflect how they appear at night. In taking pictures I realized how hard it is to capture how they really look. |

Angel Eye Bulbs
I've tons of research on this subject and the best and brightest bulbs are from Ijdmytoy. They just came out with new Cree 20 watt bulbs. I just ordered them myself.

I didn't buy the TT-Motoring ones for my e70. Wound up buying these instead. Overall, I'm pleased with the look. No error messages. The pins didn't quite fit. I had to reach in there with a needlenose and squeeze the prongs together for them to be able to plug into the female end in the car. I'll post pictures when i get home. I took pics with one side in and the other stock for comparison. Overcast daylight pictures. |

Angel Eyes
Hi John thanks for the reply.
Are we talking about the Ijdmytoy Cree 360 degree 20 watt H8 bulbs? Are they really bright? Even in the daytime? As good as the ones standard? Any info is appreciated. Best Joe |

iJDM LEDs are nice, that's what I have. Nothing in the aftermarket will be as bright as the new OEM ones, so here's the low down: on bright sunny days, it will not be as visible, but at dusk and at night, amazing!

Thanks for the advice John. I have another question, did you think about replacing the fog lights with LEDS? It could be cool and would match the angel eyes and headlights.

Don't do it unless you want to turn fog lights into pure cosmetic item. LEDs don't provide the same output, white light is useless in fog, you'll have to use coding to get rid of error messages, they'll flicker, no cornering function, etc etc.
And for the love of god don't install xenons either, unless you want to be king of *********s. |
