A little history would be nice
I just bought a new to me 09 528i with X drive and have no idea what services a dealer has performed on our new car. Is there a way a nice dealer would be able to tell us?

your dealer can get you the service history. board sponsors can no longer post the info as per bmwna

Oft discussed....
The records you request are considered "confidential business transactions between the prior owner and the BMW dealership and BMWNA" As such, BMWNA has determined these cannot be released to a subsequent owner.. Not even bu yhe dealership. Your dealer MAY give them to you, but don't demand them. You may need to schmooze them a bit...

 Funny how things really don't get easier. My last E39 ownership seemed alot easier...10 years ago. Thank you again. These cars are sooo much more complicated. Im beginning to think I DO need an aftermarket warranty. I hope my dream of owning a fine automobile wasn't a mistake. We put a 175,000 miles on my last car.
