I'm sure that was a typo - has to be 19's on the front as well or the X3 would look like it was permanently under heavy braking.

@ madurodave~ i was wondering the same thing! 16's on the front and 19's in the rear!??? Gives you a picture of a HOT ROD x3!!! totally funny image!
and soon enough I will find out if the Michelin Defenders are as good as some people say they are. As I live in Michigan, we get as much snow as you in N.H.! Gotta trust a Michelin for my baby's sake! (11 month old on board!) Happy off-roading! |

I have the 19 in option on my x3 as well. I looked around for all season tires for the oem size of 235/45/19 (rim is 19x8.5) and 255/40/19 (rim is 19x9), and found it difficult to find a variety. I found that you can put 245/45/19 on the front and 275/40/19 on the back. It's a little bit oversized but its within the rim tire range and the diameter and rotations per minute are closer than the oem. I put Pirelli all-season last year and no complaints.
