grille and steering wheel update

had my 2009 750I in to finally have the active stabilizer bar replaced. that persistent bock/ knock noise from the front end is GONE! My dealer gave me a brand new 750LI as a loaner (1800 miles)! I much preferred the thicker steering wheel and the grille from the 2012. Are they interchangeable? Does anyone have a source for steering wheels?

I'm having my current grille replaced w with the grille on the 2013 model on Friday. I had a chance to check out a 2013 and the grille is different and looks nicer for some reason. Now you mentioned you got a 2012 loaner, the 2012 didn't have a difference between the grilles. The only different grilles was the stock grille vs. the grille for the night vision package. And did the 2012 have the m package because the m package cars have a thicker steering wheel.

Someone on the forum a while back had his regular steering wheel replaced with an individual w/ wood trim. Stands out in my mind because I remember it being somewhat expensive since I believe the airbag module had to be replaced too. I think it was LovinM6?

Heads up for anyone looking to swap grilles for the 2013 grille. The part #'s for the 2013 grilles on realoem.com are incorrect; the part #'s showing up for the 2013 are actually 2012 grilles and as of right now the 2013 grilles are not available to order.
