Transmission problem

2003 m3 smg trans when u put it in drive it dosent move and the gear selector flashes in the gauge cluster any ideas?

Have you changed your salmon relay? That would be your first step. Also make sure your hood sensor isn't the problem.

I bought the car wrecked where would them sensors be located?

Under the hood driver side above the wheel. It's a pink relay.
