E34 FS: S3.73 LSD Medium Case Diff E34

I have a medium case differential that I pulled some time ago out of a 1990 535i manual. I am happy with the S3.64LSD I have now so it's time to sell this one and clear up some space.

The diff is in great shape, works good, and is clean with no leaks. I will be shipping this with no oil in it but will include brand new Amsoil synthetic gear oil for you to put in it.

Asking $350.00 shipped to the lower 48.

anyone, these are rare and hard to come by.

If the gears weren't so aggressive I would take this rear for sure... It's also going to take some modification to fit my e34 540i bc they use different driveshaft configurations... Price is kinda hard to pas up tho! How many miles on the rear? Any seepage from the front seal?

I didn't see any seepage from the front or sides, as always i would recommend doing the rear diff cover only b/c you would already have it out of the car and its really easy to do.

This came off of a 535i 5speed with 130k miles, however, the 535i 5speed came stock with the 3.46 rear, so someone swapped this into their ride before I pulled it.

Yeah, i had a custom drive shaft made for my 540i. The front half is the 540i portion and the rear half is the standard, 525/535 portion so i can put in almost any rear end ration i want now at this point. Its nice since the large case diffs come in limited gear options and they go for crazy $$$.
