TPMS question

Hi guys,

I'm new to our 2007 335 with sports package. We just put new tires on last week, and it seems over the weekend a "Red TPMS" Light" went off on the dash. I checked the pressure and they all were 35 psi except one which was about 31psi. I raised them all to 35 front and 38 rear(similar to the decal) but the light won't go off. I press the BC button, and the light goes off, but then it comes right back on after about 10 secs. Is it possible that those tire guys took the sensors off and forgot to put them back on?

Hi there. You need to reset the TPMS via the iDrive. They vary but in my 09 M3 its under vehicle info, then vehicle status, then confirm tyre pressures.

LOL, I got to my M3 via a 335 and if you've an RS4 then I reckon you're an honorary member (although lots on this forum will probably shoot me down!) Hope you got the Tyre Pressures sorted anyway.

Nice combo! I've managed to get an M3 as a daily driver and a Z4M Roadster for when the sun shines, took some selling to my wife

BMW UK are being very coy about the new M3, a few grainy pics from the Nurburgring is about all we're getting.

The response to the new M5 & M6 hasn't been great over here so I think they are a bit worried that the response to a Turbo won't be positive (not that it hurt the 1M!) and the current 90/92/93 is still flying out of the showrooms so they are keeping quiet!!

We'll see, artist impressions I've seen look great IMO...

Wow very interesting...yeah I prefer the last M5/M6...I think the new M3 will be a hit, especiialy with the 3 turbos! I was pretty disappointed in the RS5. Hopefully the next one will have bi-turbo V8 and I think manual trans is history with Audi. SAD!

Yeah I haven't driven one but the RS5 has been panned over here, such a shame cos it looks great! Your manual transmission comment is interesting, I've got DCT on my M3 and just can't make up my mind if I prefer it to a manual, I'm enjoying trying mind

FYI: I was able to reset the TPMS tonight! Thanks everyone for your help. Yes Manual is a lot of fun. I know one day I will have to give in and accept DCT, but for now I say, long live the Manual transmission LOL I hear once I drive an Italia, my whole opinion of DCT will change LOL Can't wait to drive one at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas!
