Parking sensor dont work

Hi. When I had my X5 in reverse gear, I heard a long beep for a few seconds and the PDS button keep flashing and the PDS dont work even the car is 20 cm from the wall. Is there any wiring disconnection occurred or what else happen. I have already check the sensors (both front and rear) and no bleep bleep i can hear........
