E82 / E87 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

what is Active Autowerke AP2?

Hey everyone,

I'm a mechanic for Turner Motorsport's Grand Am team and just purchased my first BMW. Its a pristine, fully loaded, 2008 135i coupe purchased from a customer of Turner. It has Active Autowerke downpipes, and their AP2 tune. What is the AP2 exactly? A tune uploaded to the ECU, or something like the Cobb Access Port? Also the service manager at Turner told me this is no longer available, and after looking on Active's website it doesn't seem to be listed. I'm curious as to why? Were there reliability problems? Or have they just come out with a better, more updated tune?

thanks for the help!
