E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993. |

88 325 e automatic transmission is dead
ideas about the best option, rebuild it, buy a remanufactured one, used one, sell it to a junk yard . . .or . .
Where, where, can I get one, for those who asked, Imperial County(especifically, city of Calexico, CA, 92231) is between San Diego, California and Yuma, Arizona and Riverside County

if you want to keep the car for a long time, rebuild it. if you don't then just get another from a junk yard.

transmission working
I went to a San Diego, Ca junkyard two hours away from Calexico, CA bought it replaced it and working fine after almost two months, I might decide to start looking for another one since it is the second transmission in around 4 years plus the original one to fix it I asked on both sides of the border USA and Mexico and wanted between 300 and 1200 way too much the 1000 I paid 6-7 years ago.

What was wrong?
It was working on reverse but any gear forward, so finding an used one at a bargain price $65 plus expenses for labor, oil, gas was an awesome deal.
