Can someone please help me find my issue with this check engine light.
I have a 2001 325i e46. I fail smog and had these part changed and I still get the check engine light after 80 miles of resetting the light. i change the MAF with the air tube and clean the ICV which did not look very bad after having 112k on the car. I also change all 4 O2 sensors. Change of spark plugs also. I have peake code reader and only two code come up saying E3 and E4 O2 sensor adaptation limit cyl # 1-3 and 4-6............. What is my issue......please help me....

take your car to a local parts store that will read the OBDII codes. Better if they can provide the BMW codes which alot of readers will do.

You can get a ODBII reader for around $20 from Amazon. Here is what I have:

Check the specifications and find one that will provide manufacturer specific codes. Probably won't be the $20.00 plan.

those are adaptation codes. most likely your car is running lean due to a vacuum leak. probably cvv needs to be changed.
