Rubber Floor Mats/Trunk mat
Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has ordered any OEM or aftermarket rubber mats all around including the hatch area? I am looking at some and have asked my dealer to get me some pricing, but curious if anyone has used an aftermarket set? 2013 X3 28i with Sandstone Beige Leather. Thanks GC |

I have the OEM rubber floor mats front/rear/cargo.
The floor mats are nice but the cargo area liner seams substandard as it doesn't match the cargo area. The liner is made square and obstructs the two storage bins on either side at the rear of the cargo area. |

I also have the OEM mats and they fit just fine. Not sure about the trunk as well, he contours should expose the floor storage rather partially cover.

I got the WeatherTech floor liners for all around. They are a perfect fit and even cover the hump between the back seats. My only issue is the cargo mat; fits great even in the side cut outs. Don't need it to cover into the cut out area (where the net is on the side by the rear lights). you have to remove the net so it fits in, then if you need to access the compartment underneath, you have to pull it out from under the net. After typing this, I will probably go out and just cut the piece out of the mat.

Below are a couple of pictures of the poor fitment of the BMW truck liner.

Thanks for the pics. That really is a poor fit. Do you have any pics of the front/rear mats?

Sure, two seconds to take 'em.
...yes the car is dirty. Damn fall weather. Anyway, the floor mats are a very good fit IMO. Have a look below. |

I'm liking the look and fitment of the Weathertech digital fit liners for the floor and rear cargo areas. The rear cargo mat has markings for cutting around the side storage areas and anchor hooks. The problem is they have not released the mats specific to the 2013 model year. Can anyone comment on the 2011 or 2012 fitment on a 2013 model?

I wish you would... it's hard to get motivated when the weather is so crappy. Plus my work often puts me (and the car) in the dirt.

Maybe its because I have my first aid kit jambed into the right storage bin. Either way the quality is somewhat less than the BMW logo warrants.

Can anyone post of pic of the Weather Tech front floor liner? I'm thinking of purchasing those for the winter.
I don't really like how the BMW mats fit in the front. I think the cutout for the gas pedal is to large. There is a small gap around the pedal which allows sand and dirt to get underneath the mat. This will be worse in the winter with snow and wet boots. I almost returned mine when I first got them but was too busy to follow through on such a small thing. I don't understand why BMW couldn't put two little velcro strips on the passenger side front mats. I haven't noticed them moving around without but it would have been a nice finishing touch. I am trying to decide if I should get the BMW Rubber Mats or All Weather Floor Liners for the front. Any suggestion? For the rear I will get the all weather because it covers the transmission tunnel bump. |
