In other news/update....finished the tractor, pocketed $250. Win.

You have no idea how close that was to fact, minus the mullet.

My dad just bought a new Hyundai Accent . He did not tell anyone he was going to look at cars or that he was going to a buy a car he just bought it. I was sitting in a room with my mom installing Photoshop on a mac when the phone rang. My mom picked up the phone and said hello. Then I hear her said "WTF do not tell me you just bought a car". The next ten minutes consisted of my mom questioning my dad's sanity and me laughing at the rather humorous conversation. That night my dad came home all proud of the "deal" he got on the "only Accent in the area with all the options he wanted" and his "great" 5% interest rate. We managed to convince him to renegotiate his interest rate down to 2.5% but he still picked up the car the next day. Seriously who does something like that?
By the way quick question, do e46 sedan seats fit in an e36 coupe. I know they do not have the lever to fold the seat forward but is there any other different.

check with either z or joey. one of them (iirc) did an e46 seat swap. some minor mods, but nothing really serious.

but i like hyundai. they've been on the move of late with some heavy overhaul of their designs. they're really pushing the envelope with much of their offerings, and companies like ford have caught on.

kia and hyundai are (pretty much) the same. kia is owned by hyundai.

but yeah, 5% on a new car is a little high, doncha think?? i mean, without going into particulars of credit history and score, down payment, and such.

anyway....spending my bonus on tires, i think...for the tucson. (it's a hyundai...)

It has nothing to do with which car he bought. It is the fact that he did not tell anyone he was going to buy a car. 5% is high that is why he did not take that loan. He just came home proud of 5%. He ended up with another loan though his bank for 2.5%.

Thanks DF . And I resembled the above remark, if you replace the mullet with farrah faucet hair

I don't know whether to be amazed or worried.

Around 10 am this morning I consumed 2 (two) Red Bull energy drinks consecutively. It is now 9 pm, a good 11 hours later and I'm STILL hyper as fcuk. :/

I didn't even know that two energy drinks could do that to a person. I thought you'd have to drink like 3 or 4, maybe 5.

IN OTHER NEWS!

Star Wars Marathon Week is coming to an end today. About to watch Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Well this whole train thing had been great......but last night just sucked. Still beats driving but dayum..... Worth checking out the links.

Tuesday's incident: http://www.mercurynews.com/breaking-...-onto-railroad

Aaaand immediately after, we got this fun on Wednesday: http://www.mercurynews.com/bay-area-...9-year-old-san

I know these things are rare, but back to back just sucked. Got home super late last night, delayed by almost 3 hours.

Geez that's crazy. That's why I have a general aversion to public transportation. I could never make myself take the bus to class when I was in college. With public transit, if you're delayed/broken down its 100% outside your control and you can do nothing to change it.

With your own vehicle you can try to find another way around a traffic jam, say screw it and drive to the nearest bar, or cobble together some roadside fix if your sh*t breaks.

Hey all..what would you think about doing an OT Secret Santa? I found this on the other bimmer site, and given that we've all (well most) have been drunk together, I think we know each other enough to share gifts together. First post has the general guidelines that we could steal http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1900301

Whaddya think?

EDIT: I must be thinking about Xmas as the weather here has been absolutely awful here this week...gray and rainy. Wait, did I move near Karl?

15. Can I send alcohol?

I will answer that question by offering a few data points:

-It is illegal to send someone below the legal drinking age alcohol.
-It is illegal to mail alcohol via USPS
-Depending on what state you live in, it might be illegal for you mail alcohol AT ALL.
-Depending on what state your person lives, it might be illegal to send them alcohol regardless of post method.
-I like receiving odd boozes from around the world.
-There is a thread in OT about how to pack alcohol.
This had me close to peeing myself.

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...7&postcount=92

Here's the link for those interested in how to ship the booze.
