Porsche 911 Turbo Engine (997 3.6 liter)

My 997 Turbo engine sounds like a cheap upright washing machine.

The engine was based on the rugged and reliable 964/GT1 design rated 480 PS (350 kW; 470 hp) and 620 Nm (460 lbft). The turbochargers are fitted with a two-stage resonance intake system.

My guess is that if you actually pressed the gas pedal more than 1/64 of its travel so that you applied one bar of boost - you might like the way it sounds.
