Doesn't sound like it. I can't remember the last cloudy day we had here. It's been sunny for months.

So I've been driving the G35 to work all week, it feels so good driving an automatic on bumper to bumper traffic...

About 5 miles from my exit the freeway opens up and I punch it, feels great lots of torque and loud, exiting on the ramp doing about 40-50mph and car feels like there's too much oversteer...

This car by far has the worst handling, feels nice and tight on a straight line but when I'm trying to so a sharp turn steering wheel feels heavy and doesn't seem like I'm in control...

With your own vehicle you can try to find another way around a traffic jam, say screw it and drive to the nearest bar, or cobble together some roadside fix if your sh*t breaks.
Depends on whether there's a viable alternative or not. When I lived right in the Bay, there were 8 ways to any destination. Out here, there's just one main highway linking the Bay and my home and it's always stopped. The side roads take just as long as waiting it out. And I didn't realize how stressful it was until I took the train and felt so much more relaxed.

But seriously...a couch?!

PS...wtf happened to gas prices?! 4.80 this morning, up 60 cents since Saturday.

$4.80?! I got some last night and it was $4.15 which I thought was high, I've been paying $3.9x all summer.

In other news, Powerpoint reverted a document I had been working on for a week to a previous version, erasing HOURS of work. Yes I saved.

I worked on it a lot last week, but hadn't gotten back to it, I opened it last night and reviewed it with my manager and everything looked great. Closed it without making any changes, and when I came back to it this morning, its almost completely gone. Its back to where I left it on day 1.

Damn Joey I hope you can get it sorted out

I swear sometimes I cant win.

Took a light credit load this semester because I knew I would be working 35-40 hours a week

13 credits and every class I'm comfortable in except my business operations management class....

I pay attention and take notes I basically type down everything he says, I had a written test which he called the midterm on tuesday.

Ive been working like crazy and swamped with hw and attending all my other classes as well as dealing with a Gf that im very close with.

I logged on to my stuedent email just now and apparently there was part one of the midterm online that was available on tuesday morning...

I'm almost certain he didnt mention anything in class, I am pissed guys.

I hope everyone else is having a good day.

Sorry to hear Frank and Joey.

If it makes you feel better a small portion of a meatball sub was apparently being thrown in the parking lot

That sucks Frank, might be worth shooting him an email and explaining how much stuff you're juggling, professors don't like lazy students but if you show them how driven you are they tend to be more forgiving.

My GF's little brother is a pre-med student that used to have a 4.0 GPA. Four. Point. Oh. For the first time in his entire life he completely missed a test, studied too late and got the time mixed up or something. He begs and pleads with the professor to let him take make-up, because getting a B in the class would destroy his perfect GPA, and she wouldn't let him do it.

As for my powerpoint, im pretty sure its gone. Im going to make a hardware request for an external drive or partition my internal one or something to get a backup set up. It's gonna take me the rest of the day to catch up on this thing.

Joey...one other place to check. Did you work off an emailed copy? If so, check your temp files. When I'm tired and working late, dollars to donuts I've saved it there. If not, I am sorry...I know how badly that sucks.

Yeah I dug through my outbox hoping I sent it to someone else, but no dice. Luckily I'm just building out a bunch of user experience flows, so I have Vizio flows to work off and I don't have to retake all the screenshots. Could be worse

Joey, if you're in Office 2010 open the document and go to the File tab, Info, Versions and see if the last version is in there. That's saved my ass a few times.

Frank.....that blows.

Wow. It rains so damn much in Rochester. Probably not as much as Seattle though.

Not surprised at all. My girlfriend was in the ER during a major exam. She brought the prof a note from the doctor, still didn't let her make it up. They are serious about that shiit.

I looked for something like that but in my 2011 on a Mac. And before any Mac jokes start flying around, lets remember its a Microsoft product that crapped out on me in the first place.
