Adaptive M Suspension

I am still confusing with this Adaptive M Suspension option that listed on M sport package (PACKAGE & OPTION) of BMWUSA.COM. I have ordered the 13 BMW 335i with M sport package, as far as I know that Adaptive M Suspension has to be ordered with DHP, but why it still listed on the BMWUSA.COM as included in M sport package?? Is this a error or it does come with the M package??? Very coufused right now!!!!

the passive sport suspension is pretty good.

Don't want to start a new thread, so here I go my question:

How do you tell if the car have normal "sport suspension" or "adaptive m suspension"? I don't have a clue at first that this is one of the option! I bough my car from the lot, and by looking at my invoice sticker, under the sportline section, it only mentioned "sport suspension". However, when I checked my car profile from MY BMW on the bimmer site, it said both "sport suspension" and "adaptive m suspension" under the sport line section (under "Your 328i Sedan Selected Options"). What's an easy way to find out? I am just plain confused.

is it a 2013 or 2012?

is there a 900 charge on the spec sheet for dynamic handling?

Just confirmed with my CA. M adaptive suspension has to come with the Dynamic handling package.

thats for 2013. you could have gotten dynamic suspension as a standalone option in 2012

M suspension comes standard with M sport line, with that suspension you will not able to adjust you suspensions thru your iDRIVE(Sports+). M adaptive suspension ONLY comes with that $1000 dollar DHP, otherwise, you don't have it!

=( So the bimmer site just made me all hyped up giving me wrong info then? Does anyone else have the same case where it's written on the spec page but the part doesn't actually exist in your car? (the only thing I can't confirm is the adaptive m suspension, everything else is correct as far as I can see, but I guess I don't have that!)

No! I did not order the DHP. Therefore, I only have M suspension not Adaptive M suspension. lol BMW made it so confused!

Great choice! Imho, DHP is way over-rated and not worth the extra $.

M adaptive suspension has an extra reservoir sticking out of the shock/strut if you physically look at it.

Visual difference... how to tell if you don't have a build sheet or window sticker...

I totally disagree with you as you know. Therefore my recommendation is for people to try hard and drive both a standard sport suspension car and one with adaptive suspension.

People already spend 40K to 55K on a new F30, its imperative they try both and then decide.

My 335i is totally fine (read: bitchen) without Dynamic Handling Package... The M Sport is great as-is. Perhaps if I was after a Luxury Line I might have gotten it,,

Best comment regarding DHP but ymmv. Definitely depends on the type of driver you are on how you like DHP.

What about M adaptive compared to a standard suspension? Would that be considered to be a must have, or do folks think the standard suspension is adequate? I haven't been able to drive one with the M adaptive yet. The standard one seems OK, except I felt that the car didn't feel as planted as I expected at highway speeds. Not sure if that was the tires or the suspension or something else.

are you talking about the passive sport suspension or the regular suspension?
