Map Question

Can someone explain why on the map there are times when one half of the map is a darker color than the other side?

Thanks

The difference in color would typically depict "something", perhaps a park or something like that. I don't know what that would be in the example that you've posted. There's nothing obvious in that area . If you were farther south, it might be the edge of the state park, but I don't know what the map is trying to tell you in the location that you have shown. Perhaps if you zoom out a few increments you can figure it out for yourself.

I am pretty sure the area to the right is a part of a different town - or a city rather, as urban areas are different shade on the map than the 'burbs. HTH.

No parks, lakes, etc. Not a different town. Just homes.
