New Member - Question

Greetings all,

New member located in Northern New Jersey USA. Owner of a 2004 Z4 3.0I Alpine white/beige top/interior.

Excellent, educational forum.

In the process of replacing shift gear, and handbrake boots with new leather versions, as well as the actual "gear shift ".

The boots are easy to replace, however not sure how to remove the "automatic gear shift ". Appreciate feedback on how-to for new install.

Thanks and good day
