Hi
First time bmw buyer here and the car has the auto start stop don't know what I have done but it doesn't seem to want to activate or work press the button to turn it of an on again but still doesn't want to work Please anyone with any idea help

Hit the break pedal, then push the start button.

Will this allow the car to stop in traffic and once I press the clutch it will work again
