Just a few questions
Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum, but not on bimmerfest, as i currently have 2 BMWs.
im posting this message on behalf of my friend who is going to be the owner of a E28 528e, in the next week or so. the car is not in showroom condition at all, and needs a good amount of work, more smaller things, nothing as far as the engine and drivetrain goes, so basically im just wondering if there is anything that we should worry about, things that are prone to failure. i know these straight 6s are pretty reliable, but i also know that there are things that always fail. thanks! |

Start with and Inspection 2 servive plus ALL fluid and rubber (hoses etc) change. CPS are prone to failure as are fuel pumps. Do the service and see what happens. Too expensive to change too much on spec.
