2013 Midnight Blue Metallic, up close

08.25.2012 A search on cars.com for new 2013 X6 shows results where the color is an elegant blue.
Cars.com dealer photos of cars in full sun light results Midnight Blue Metallic as an elegant blue and not a blue-green or teal.

08.25.2012 The link does not show the color accurately. As many have noticed, too much green-blue hue.

interesting color, but I personally not feeling the teal and green in it.

I think it would work well with dark tinted windows.

I think it'd be fine on a Z4 or maybe a 328i coupe. IMO, it looks awful on the X6/X5....and would be just dreadful on a 5 or 7 Series!!

It looks just like the old "Deep Sea Blue" BMW used to have.

Yuck, I would never rock that color on the 7er.

Awful color, makes the car look so dated.

I would have to see the color in person under full sun and inside service area under artificial light.

Dated color? maybe if your interst in color is mostly black or white.
Would I rock it? ROFL, probably not.

i don't get the X5 or the X6, they ride like trucks and you have no visibility to the rear i don't care what color they paint it

I think my color is called Imperial Blue Metallic. Looks black in the evening. Looks darl purple under fluorescent etc. I'll try to post some better pics It's an Individual color

I like the 5er in the thread. I like Space Grey Metallic better. I like cars that shine.

2010 Desert BMW in Las Vegas had a frozen grey 7er with aftermarket wheels. Frozen Grey was listed as $5k paint option on the window sticker.
Not the best finish for a 7er IMO. Many with cars more expensive than the 7er line feel that the frozen paint scheme (primer grey, black, white, blue) is over.

A 12' 650 coupe in frozen grey. New 6er looked fantastic on the floor, during a regional visit.
Would I lease it? maybe for $15k+ off the deal. Car still at Camelback BMW in Phoenix.

Good find. It's nice to look at but I could not live with it.

I like the third photo, barrel distortion is completely blown with swept back look.
The camera's over saturated, blown high lights do not actually appear as seen live on the frozen grey finish, would be nice if it did.

If the dealer is Desert BMW they are part of autonation.com, may be $10k off.

It would be a tough car to own because even bird droppings would damage the finish.

Midnight has a teal look to it. I really like it, but I don't know if it works on the 7. I drove an X1 with it
