Mein Auto: who knows?
Its pretty self explantitory

Probably going to need window clips and door panel clips.

If the motors arms are bent your looking at another 50-100$ pretty easy to get working.
a B!tch to get properly alligned again. (from personal experience)

Brakes: Is there any upgrade to brakes for a stock e36. like i know you can get e46 rear rotors and pads so you can have the gap in there to help cooling... but is there anything of the sort for the fronts or should i just get some stock (to my car) blanks and some low dust akebono pads?
Also the cheapest place to get some rotors and pads? my front right rotor is warped now and it squeaks when i drive. when its in the air it grabs inconsistently and that means im loosing MPG's i still managed to get 23.9 out of last tank but thats a hit from the regular 25.3 i usually get with the same driving.

LED license plate tails: Anyone other than Don have them and what color do you have blue/white? throwing any codes on the OBC?

If I use the current approximate price of premium fuel here, which is around $4.30/gal, that comes down to $749.52 spent in gas for the year, which is about $2 per day. Not bad... The actual amount of money I spent on gas is considerably less, since the average cost of a gallon of premium fuel has been creeping up for the last year, so $4.30/gal is somewhat of a high figure to use as the basis for that calculation. Anyway, sorry for nerding out. Sometimes it's fun to run all the numbers.

like whoa. you really don't drive huh? I enjoy driving, but not sitting in traffic.
I really recommend using Fuelly.com for all your fuel costs/tracking. its really worthing checking out. Tracks your fuel consumption for you. give you a time and place to put notes in say if you just got a oil change or something that you want to document. it will track it for years. so far my average is like 24.6 for the last 5k miles. give me a total of the $$ i spent. average gas prices.... and many many many more charts. give it a look.

if you have a smartphone there is a app too so you dont have to go home and log on to fill it out. simply load the app fill out the numbers and VOLA.

Yes, I ride my bicycle Monday-Friday year round. Plus, the I use the Subaru for most of my longer duration drives to the mountains, etc.

Yeah, I'm familiar with Fuelly, but I'm lazy and have a dumb-phone. I would totally use it if I had a smartphone, however.

I think that they have adapted to a SMS text format too.... If you send the numbers in the correct format it will update it for you. I could be wrong though.

Time to join the rest of us in the 21st century, Karl.

I don't use Fuelly but I do keep track of my gas expenses and model future expenses. Eg, commuting in the Disco at 4.2/gal was costing about 600/mo, were it to stay at roughly 5/gal for a month that would add $140 for a disgusting total of $740/mo for just the Disco for exclusively going back and forth to work.

So I took the train

The phone company I'm with is new here (Wind Mobile) and I pay only $39 a month all inclusive. That's with unlimited everything including calling anywhere in Canada, the US, and the UK.

Yeah, I can't find any unlimited high-speed data plans with good coverage for under $70-80 a month, and I'm simply not willing to pay that much for what is basically just a toy.

Yeah, the ATS is a very solid competitor. Hopefully they up their game in the drivetrain department in the coming years. If they make an ATS-V, I bet it will be really great.

Sorry to hear that, Josh. Do what you gotta do, but your listed price is currently at $145k (one-hundred-forty-five-thousand). Even $14.5k is about double the going rate for an M3 which needs much less work than yours. Going to be a very tough sell at that price.

By the way, there isn't any chance you would be interested in selling me your Borla exhaust, would you?

I know its high but its worth a shot. If I cant sell the car outright for something reasonable I'll proly part it out. I'll let you know.

Patrick, yes that is in Canada, but when you factor that we typically pay a helluva lot more than you folks for anything, its a great deal.

I paid $83 a month with Rogers, and that was a fixed plan for the years at a time. Rogers had unlimited nothing.

That ain't too shabby for a phone.

I was just joking... I agree- its a hullva great deal! I'm totally jelly of your 39.

And the CAN to USD exchange is pretty much 1 to 1 these days anyway.

that reminds me, I haven't been to Canada in atleast 10 years now. Such a shame. Maybe a Montreal road trip in the future?

I'm down! MTL is only about 90 minutes away. I'm sure there will be some way to entice Joe to go too.
