Hesitation under acceleration...
I have noticed lately that my car seems to hestitate under hard acceleration, between 2000 and 3000 rpm and I believe it's right when it shifts to 3rd. Power seems to drop, then it kicks back in again. No SES/check engine codes. The sympton seems to have appeared after the emissions recall was performed. I have not tested it without the JBD in place. Has anyone else experienced this sensation?

Nope. IIRC the switch over from small to large turbo happens around there.
