Angel Eye recomendations

Yes, search reveals millions of threads. I had a stock angel eye bulb go out and figure it's a good time to do 6k white bulbs. Umnitza has quite a few. What is a good cheap(er) option for these? What about the resistor pack. I'm assuming I'm going to need it b/c right now my bulb out warning is on b/c of this. Search ont his topic yields information overload.

$10 l.e.d's from ebay/amazon is the cheap way haha but they wont show so much during the day at 5 watts. But I did it anyways and i'm eh satisfied but I didn't want to shove out $80+ just for the 6000k ae's. People have said they will not last long but i've had mine for 6 months now and not a single problem... But that's just me
I'm happy with them

Yours look fine bud. Did the LED's have to be mod'd into the bulb housing or was it the whole thing. B/c I don't feel like paying $100 either.

You don't need a resistor pack, the best option is the V5 units we sell, $80 best value with modest light output.

How do I not need a resistor pack if I currently have a 10W conventional bulb and am going to LED's. I'm confused on that... My E90 required them, my wife's C300 did.. ??

So the V5's are 5W. the VXX are 10W and $120. Gonna sleep on it... probly do the 5W. It's my 2nd car and a DD.

I have LED's from Ebay that I got about 4yrs ago, no problems with em. They aren't bright at all in daylight but show up just fine at night. No mods, they fit fine and just plug right in. I'm sure umnitza's are the best though. Don't always get lucky with cheap Chinese Ebay stuff.

The leds were direct plug and play. I literaly spent 2 mins to do both (twist, unplug, plug in and twist back in) ha
One of these days I will do matching 6000k fogs, low and high beam

There is a secondary pack required for the F01 and E63, there is a primary resistor built into these units and the VXX is on special starting Friday (so give us a call and we can offer you that tomorrow).

Just bought the ICE lites from Umnitza, they're almost a perfect match to the stock HIDs.

For $30 + shipping I'm very pleased with them.

Yeah, what's up with the ice lites? Do they throw a code?

No, they do not throw any codes, just plug in and go.

Is there any other option for that?

yes and no. There is no plug in type for the OEM color, but if you replaced your headlights, we can build you an Orion v2 GOLD unit with the Projector39 headlights. This would give you what you wanted and if you sold your existing headlights, it would be essentially a zero sum game.
