Craigslist Finds Thread

Lots of high mileage cars from what I see in SF Bay Area's CL.

What do you consider "high mileage"? If it's less than 200k and the car's been well maintained (with receipts to back it up), I pay no attention to the mileage on a BMW.

I dunno - that M3 looks pretty nice to me.

maybe the temp needle looked a little past noon and the oily engine cover. Yea probably just finding reasons because its pretty nice.

The temp needle is where it should be. It's just the angle of the camera, since the temp gauge is off to the right relative to the position of the camera.

What concerns me about the m3 is that he is driving it with the fuel light on,good-bye fuel pump. Always makes me wonder if the seller kept the vehicle properly maintained when they do little things like that.

Yeah, I think I've let the fuel light turn on maybe twice since I've owned the car, but I think 99% of people don't know that doing so is harmful. Hard to say if people who let their gas get that low are also the same people who put off oil changes, etc.

Its funny, Ive been running my cars till almost dry since 08 and ive never had a fuel pump issue "knock on wood"

I have to own one of those old 5-Series at some point. Soooo nice... I wonder if that one is a manual or automatic, however.

It was a DD but he used to take care of his cars back then. its been parked for a couple years

I like it because it only has 90k on it... asides from the only M equipment being the rear bumper
