Thanks mate, just about to disconnect the ECU for 5 mins to clear the error codes as Robert....... Mentioned above.

Well I disconnected the ECU. Reconnected it after 5 mins. Attempted the stomp test by turning key to position 2 pressing acc pedal 5 times within 5 secs. No codes came up. Is it a safe bet to assume that I'm all good?

Drive the car for a while the do the stomp test again. If no codes come up (code 1444) then you should be good to go. If something in the system is still faulty, it should throw a code for it a nd you can look into it further.
