You put those roof racks on too? They still look like 2 different cars

Yes, within the same week I bought the roof racks off craigslist and installed them. And yes, I agree, it does look like a totally different car now. I've attached another photo showing three stages of the bumper replacement. The left most image is before the retrofit, the middle is after the retrofit but before the paint was matched on the trunk lid, and last one on the right is after the final parts were painted and installed.

The second photo is of the two bumpers - the bumper on the top left/right is the M-Sport bumper front and back. The lower left/right images are of the stock bumper front and back.

The third photo shows the bumper progression:
a. the standard bumper
b. the standard bumper removed
c. the M-sport bumper installed but finisher and tow hook unpainted
d. the M-sport bumper installed without finisher and tow hook installed (being painted)

I recently found a front bumper on craigslist, had it painted earlier this week, and installed it this evening. It's too dark to take photos right now (teaser pic attached), but I will try to get some shots this weekend. Retrofit complete!

You must live in Craigslist paradise! lol I never find anything there. Good job, it looks really nice.

Thanks! I usually have to get creative and look around the country. This particular bumper was found 1200 miles away and I had it shipped to me via greyhound - but it was less than $200 after shipping! BTW - nice photo of your garage and M3 (I had the same car/color combo)!

What parts did you need to buy for the font bumper? Do you think I will be able to reuse my parking sensors?
