Paris auto show
I'm going to Paris in October and I just realized the auto show will still be going on. We get there the 13th and the 14th is the last day.
Anyone been? Can you just go up and buy tickets? We may have to go the last day- will all the exhibits still be up or will some have left early? Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

If you do miss the Paris Auto Show, there are always the manufacturer's stores on Champs-Élysées. C42, the Citroen store, is worth a look.

The Renault store there has a rather fun restaurant where they air F 1 races.
The BMW store around the corner on Henry V is worth a visit too. |

Just to update, I went yesterday and what a ZOO!! I don't think I've ever been anyplace so packed with people for so long. It was like Bourbon Street at mardi gras. I think the fact that it was raining and it was the last weekend contributed. Some sites (Ferrari, Lamborghini) you had to fight your way up just to get a glance.
The BMW display wasn't all that exiting. The i cars were interesting looking but the active tourer didn't do much for me- hard to tell if it is an SUV or a station wagon. |
