Any Interest in a Part-Out?

Good luck, Chad. My roommate's coupe is basically the same, so I might come back to this thread with some ideas. Right now the clutch is the only thing wrong with it, and I think we're just going to buy a kit.

What color is the vehicle, not boston green by any chance is it? If yes, I'll want the hood if it is decent and not bubbling (clear coat).

Is the interior tan? If yes, I'd be interested in that driver's arm rest as well.

Sorry about your car OP. Are you located in the SF Bay Area? I'd be interested in a lower cam chain tensioner if yours is the flat kind (95+ I think). I know it's not a big ticket item, but it might shut up my growling Rottweiler of a chain around 2k rpm.

I'm just outside the bay in Tracy.

The way it's going so far it doesn't look worth my time to part, but if I do I'll let you know.

You would be much better off buying a new chain tensioner, rather than one from a well worn car from '97. Not trying to scare off potential sales, but there are things you buy used, and things you buy new. A chain tensioner falls into the second category.
